Your AfriVenture begins. You will leave the Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, heading south through the Kalahari. Today you will get your first preview of Namibia's magnificent landscapes and wild spaces. Today you will North to Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier wildlife destination, offers exceptional safari experiences. The first two nights will be spent in the West of the Park. The vast salt pan attracts a diverse array of animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, and numerous bird species. You can either do self drive safaris or go on arranged game drives. Most of the best lodges are situated neighboring Etosha or in wildlife rich private concessions close by. Etosha’s unique landscapes, from salt flats to savannas, create stunning photo opportunities. The park's well-maintained roads and facilities make it accessible for self-drive safaris.
Days 11 - 13: Big 5 Safari in Etosha East | 2 Nights
You will then make your way accross Etosha, travelling West to East. This gives you a well rounded experience of the National Park, seeing different landscapes and wildlife en route. You will then stay in the West of Etosha and enjoy safaris in this corner of the park. Again one may self drive in Etosha or do organised safari activities with the lodges.
Days 13 - 14: Big Cat Experience in Onkonjima | 1 Night
