The Founders
Stuart Rice
Born in South Africa, a qualified safari guide and managed an overland safari company as well as various luxury lodges throughout Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. As a young adventurer himself, he designs tours to be both adventurous and comfortable combining his knowledge of African adventures and luxury safari
His Top List:
Best Safari Destination: Okavango Delta (Botswana) as there is nothing like it. the private concessions allow for less crowded safaris. the landscapes are beautiful, lodges are wild
and there is always something behind every bush.
Best Beach Destination: Alphonse Island (Seychelles), no words can describe the magic of this pristine outer island. Perfect coral reefs, water activities and arguably the freshest cuisine in Africa. Cape Town beaches would be a close second!
Best Adventure: Canoeing Safaris (Zimbabwe and Zambia), there is nothing like the feeling of paddling down the Lower Zambezi. coming face to face with Africa’s giants, hippos, crocodiles and elephants.
Best Adrenaline: White Water Rafting in Victoria Falls.
Sanja Rice
Born in Switzerland and a world traveller, Sanja decided to put a foot in Africa, and since then has never left. Africa is a drug and Sanja is addicted, from Safari’s, Adventures and perfect beaches, She has travelled extensively and found the continents best adventures and also offers Swiss quality service to our AfriVenture clients.
Her Top List:
Best Safari Destination: As Stuart claimed the Okavango Delta, I would have a toss up between Sabi Sands (South Africa) and the Ngorongoro Crater (Tanzania) as both of these have the best chance of seeing the Big 5 in a single safari
drive and Sabi Sands offers great walking safaris.
Best Beach Destination: For pristine beaches and paradise I would have to go with Seychelles (All Islands) but for a true African adventure island it would have to be Zanzibar (Tanzania)
Best Adventure: Hands down, it is a mobile safari in the Okavango and whilst you there a little helicopter scenic flight is will put the cherry on the top
Best Adrenaline: Skydiving over the Sand Dunes in Namibia
